This piece is inspired by Emma’s walks along the beach at Preston on the English Riviera in Devon where she lives at times if she’s not on Burgh Island with family or in a yurt on Dartmoor being an Artist in residence.

The original is hanging in the new Mecure Hotel in Paignton called ‘The Park’ built in 2023.

Emma was commissioned by The Fragrance Group as part of a larger collection to represent The English Riviera and the story it holds for people; it’s beautiful geography of the bay, the geology, the beaches, the outside pursuits, the dog walking on Preston sands, the water sports, the sailing regattas, the fishing, the rockpools at low tide, the sunrises and sunsets, the palm trees and the British seaside holiday feeling you can’t help to be charmed by.

This fine art print is professionally produced on archival paper with specialist lightfast inks.
