Workshops
Art classes and workshops, residential or non residential, are held throughout the year in the home studio Blue Haze on the English Riviera or at The Burgh Island Hotel – Devon.
The Mercure Hotel in Torbay and The Mayne Gallery in Kingsbridge Devon will also host sip and paint events (see below).
Workshops are also available for schools and colleges and for corporations for team building and development.
STUDIO WORKSHOPS 2025
Small groups (max 5), ensure lots of individual attention in a relaxed and informal environment, Emma has been professionally painting coaching and teaching art and artists for 30 years.
Great for a group of people you know or come along and meet new friends and share tips and ideas and be inspired.
Students of all abilities join; from beginner to advanced. These courses are especially good for people that want to learn some great techniques, learn how to convey expression, use different tools, and have fun at the same time.
Art is to be explored and enjoyed!
Individual tuition is also available which is discussed beforehand and tailored to the needs of the student.

CONTEMPORARY IMPRESSIONISM IN ACRYLICS

A new two day course where you will learn to paint in acrylics using contemporary impressionist techniques.
Suitable for all abilities from beginners to advanced in a friendly and relaxed home studio environment in artist Emma’s house in Torbay.
There will be many tips and ideas given throughout the day to help you achieve success with your painting, exploring colour and how to portray light and movement in your painting like the impressionists.
As this course is run for a very small groups lots of individual tuition is available if you would like it.

I have held workshops at The BMW training academy for 3 years, care homes, primary schools, adult education, A levels and primary schools, art societies and individuals tuition for 30 years.
