Workshops
Art classes, Eazy Breezy Art School, workshops, residential or non residential, are held throughout the year in the home studio Blue Haze on the English Riviera or at The Burgh Island Hotel or on Burgh Island in Devon.
The Mercure Hotel in Torbay and The Mayne Gallery in Kingsbridge Devon, The Boathouse in Preston Paignton will also host creative events (see below).
Workshops are also available for schools and colleges, care homes, retreats and for corporations, please enquire for a bespoke creative experience.

Unleash your inner artist with a six-week creative course led by artist Emma, this inspiring course welcomes all skill levels, from novices to advanced practitioners, to explore the exciting worlds of painting, drawing, and sketching in a picturesque, coastal setting.
Here’s a simple breakdown of your creative journey:
Weeks 1-2: Foundations in Drawing and observation.
The initial weeks focus on mastering fundamental sketching and drawing techniques, helping you build confidence in observation and mark-making.
Weeks 3-4: The Art of Colour.
Progress into the theory and application of colour, experimenting with various painting mediums and learning how to translate the vibrant surrounding landscape onto your canvas.
Weeks 5-6: Developing Your Personal Style
The final two weeks are dedicated to bringing together all your new skills, focusing on individual projects and cultivating your unique artistic voice with personalised guidance from Emma.

The Boathouse is situated on the beach at Preston Paignton on The English Riviera with stunning views and a great menu, outdoor space and our own room for the classes, so stay for lunch or arrive early for yummy breakfast and chat with your fellow students and creatives to help build a local creative community.

A new two day course where you will learn to paint in acrylics using contemporary impressionist techniques.
Suitable for all abilities from beginners to advanced in a friendly and relaxed home studio environment in artist Emma’s house in Torbay.
There will be many tips and ideas given throughout the day to help you achieve success with your painting, exploring colour and how to portray light and movement in your painting like the impressionists.
As this course is run for a very small groups lots of individual tuition is available if you would like it.
